Las Villas D’Vine is the ideal vacation spot for families, couples traveling together, honeymooners or couples celebrating a special occasion. A getaway at Las Villas D’Vine means coming to Santa Barbara and parking your car in the garage for the duration of your stay because everything “Santa Barbara” is located within less than one mile from the villas. The world famous Santa Barbara beach is two blocks, Stern’s Wharf is three blocks, the harbor is five blocks, and State Street, the heart of downtown and the nationally acclaimed historic district, is three blocks away.

There are countless restaurants of every type and in all price ranges, three multi-screen movie theaters, live theater, concert halls, shopping, museums, art galleries, bike and walking paths, a playground, parks, and night spots all within easy, safe walking distance. With a gourmet European deli and market across the street, a bakery and sandwich shop around the corner and three wineries within two blocks there is little need even to leave the neighborhood.

Within a few blocks are bike rentals, Segway rentals, peddle surrey rentals, a skate park, a public swimming pool with a large kiddy pool, and Chase Palm Park with a merry-go-round and the site of a craft fair each Sunday. The Santa Barbara Zoo and the Bird Sanctuary are an easy mile and half walk. If you are traveling to Santa Barbara by train the Las Villas D’Vine is two blocks from the train station and there is a car rental agency two blocks away in case you want to explore the Santa Ynez Valley wine country. If you are tired of walking, all of these attractions can be reached by a local 25 cents-a-ride shuttle bus that runs up State Street and along the ocean front from the harbor to the zoo.

The villa was constructed in 2007 and is elegantly furnished and fully equipped. The two bedrooms both have king size beds and in-suite bathrooms. There is an additional small room that will accommodate a crib or inflatable mattress. Each bedroom and the living room have high definition cable television with a DVD player, one of which is a Blu-ray player. There is a CD player/radio with an iPod/MP3 player dock in the living room.

If you enjoy cooking, the fully equipped, gourmet kitchen has all Viking appliances, including a commercial stove, built-in refrigerator with ice maker, microwave oven and dishwasher. The granite counters and custom cabinetry create an inviting cooking environment. Relax by the fireplace on the roof top patio and enjoy the sunset views over Santa Barbara.
